This is the final game for both teams and both need a win. Cyprus is currently the worst 3rd placed team in the C-league and they need a win to hop over Albania who has no more games left. A draw might be enough if Montenegro loses to Romania tomorrow at home.  Norway on the other hand need to earn at least the same amount of points as Bulgaria from their game against Slovenia with better goal difference to gain promotion and the semifinal playoff spot to the Euro 2020.

Cyprus lost the win right at the end against Bulgaria in their last match that ended 1-1, but considering that Cyprus was the 2nd best in most of the match, the result was at least deserved for the Bulgarians. Cyprus was missing their top striker Pieros Soteriou and it showed on the final third. He will also miss this match due to injury so that is a big blow for Cyprus´s goalscoring hopes. Cyprus will get back Kastanos to this match but important Margaca is out due to suspension. Cyprus has been a good home team recently with only one loss in their last 8 games and that was to Greece (4-3-1). In those games they have failed to score only twice but at the same time they have had only two clean sheets and both were in 0-0 games.

Norway will need a win and hopefully with a big margin as Bulgaria will have their own game at home to Slovenia and it is expected that as a good home side, they will defeat the Slovenians. Norway does not have that good of an away record as from their last 10 away games they have won 3, drawn once and lost 6 times. They have failed to score in five of them. If there wasn´t the need for Norway to win this match with many goals, we would think a 0-0 would be a very good option, especially as their main striker Joshua King is out and their goalscorer in Slovenia, Bjørn Maars Johnsen, is a doubt.

Prediction:

Bulgaria was so much better than Cyprus in their game and with both Margaca and Soteriou out, it will be difficult for the home team to score goals. They might want to defend like they did against Bulgarians so main pick is Half time draw. 2nd half with most goals is another pick. Norway should win this game and in the end there might be end to end action with goals.
