Cyprus gets Belgium again – EURO 2020 draw

The Euro 2020 draw was done today and Cyprus was drawn to group I

Cyprus will face yet again Belgium who were drawn as the top seeds for this group. Belgium was with Cyprus in the World Cup qualifiers where they won 4-0 in Belgium and 0-3 in Cyprus. They were also in the same group for the Euro 2016 qualifers where Belgium won 5-0 in Belgium and 0-1 in Cyprus.

The other countries in this group are

Russia – Cyprus last played them February 2002 in a friendly losing 0-1.
Scotland – Cyprus last played them 11.11.11 in a friendly losing 1-2.
Kazakhstan – Cyprus last played them in a friendly in March 2017 beating them 3-1
San Marino – Cyprus last faced them in Euro 2000 qualifiers beting them 4-0 at home and 0-1 away from home.
