This is the fifth match in the Europa League, group A for both teams. FC Zurich is currently 2nd with 9 points but they have already confirmed their spot to the last 32 as both Ludogorets and AEK Larnaca are 7 points behind with only 2 rounds to go.

FC Zurich beat AEK 0-1 in the first round game in Nicosia thanks to a penalty goal. They then beat also Ludogorets and Leverkusen to book their place to the next stage. In the last round they suffered a 1-0 loss to Leverkusen but with AEK and Ludogorets drawing their both games, it was enough for Zurich to go through. Zurich is currently 4th in the Swiss Super League 3 points behind Basel for the 2nd spot but already 19 points behind leaders Young Boys. With all competitions calculated, they are now without a win in their last 3 games. After losing to Leverkusen, they then lost to Sion 1-2 at home and drew during the weekend with bottom club Neuchatel Xamax 3-3. They have the 2nd best defensive record in Switzerland with only 23 goals conceded but in their last two games they have conceded 5 goals. This is a worry for their normally solid defense.

AEK Larnaca might be out from the next stage but they will still go for the win here. Any money that they could get from the points would make a big difference to them. They are not worse than Zurich and this should be an even game. AEK prepared for this match by earning a big 1-0 win against APOEL in the Cypriot league. The team does not have much depth so the international break came at the right time. When the team is fit, they can challenge anyone. AEK is currently 3 points behind leaders Apollon in the Cypriot league with a game in hand. They have lost only 1 game so far this season in Cyprus and twice in the Europa League (Zurich 0-1 and Leverkusen 4-2). They are not as offensive as they were last season with only 13 goals scored in the league in 8 games, but they are definitely better defensively with only 4 goals conceded.

Zurich team news:

Zurich has a fully fit squad.

AEK team news:

AEK will not have Antoniadis, Mojsov, Laban nor Rousshias in this match. Nacho Cases is a doubt.

AEK has a chance to get something from this match so X2 (or +0.5AH) is the main pick.
