AEK Larnaca played their post poned game from Game Week 1 with FC Pafos on Wednesday and they were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw. They are now 5 games without a win and have dropped to 6th position. Omonia has improved in their performances from the start of the season but that has not shown in the leaderboard. They are still 4 points behind AEK on 7th position. A win here would boost their hopes of a Top-6 finish before the regular season ends.

Omonia has had a tough start to the season. They have struggled with goals and the players just have not played that well as a team. They already acquired two greek players to help; Kolovos and Mavrias and they are both potential assets as long as they do not get injured. Omonia played also on Wednesday in the Cup, losing 1-0 to Apollon. They thus do not have any advantage on the rest. Omonia is a very inconsistent team. If they do get their act together, they do have enough quality to beat any team.

AEK is on a downhill right now. Their team looks tired and it does not create enough chances to score. Despite having the best defensive record, they still struggle to score goals which was evident in their Wednesday´s match against Pafos where they only managed to score 1 goal against a team who were missing several key players. In their last 6 games, they have failed to score twice and only managed to score more than one goal once (Apollon 3-3). They really need a creative player at the center of the field. Larena, Acoran or Tomas are just not at their level at the moment.

In the first game, AEK beat Omonia 1-0. Something similar could happen here but for Omonia. Under 2.5 goals is the main pick. Omonia to win is another.

Nea Salamina vs Apollon 18:00 N. Papas Group Ammochostos-Epistrofi, Larnaca
4.40 – 3.60 – 1.74 -Bet NOW with Winmasters

This is a big game for both teams. After a few draws Apollon is already 5 points behind leaders APOEL but they do have a game in hand. Nea Salamina on the other hand has only scored once in their last 4 games, but luckily for them, that goal came in the last match which helped them beat AEK 0-1. Nea Salamina is 5th at the moment and desperate for more points to stay in the Top-6.

Nea Salamina has had a good season but it could have been better. After their 4-1 win over AEL, somehow their goals just stopped coming. They lost to APOEL and Alki without scoring before earning a 0-0 draw against Enosis and beating AEK in their last game. Their defense is playing pretty well as they have kept two clean sheets in a row but still the lack of goals must be worrying. Nea Salamina has been strong at home winning 4, drawing 2 and losing only to APOEL 2-3 in a match where they should have gotten something. This will be a difficult match for Apollon.

Especially as they have struggled recently. Their nice attacking-style of play has put them defensively in hot water in recent games. Pafos had several chances to score a winning goal and AEK who struggle to score this season put 3 goals in their net. This is something that needs improving if they will have a legitimate chance for the title this season. Apollon only beat Nea Salamina 1-0 in their home game so they know how dangerous that Red-white team can be. They are 3-2-1 away from home losing only in that big 5-1 game against APOEL.

Apollon is the better team but it will be a tight match. Apollon to win by exactly 1 goal is the main pick.
