Omonia has 6 rounds left to save their season. They are currently on 7th position and not being in the Top-6 when the regular season ends would be a catastrophe for the Nicosia giants. They are 3 points behind AEK Larnaca, but the best chance that Omonia has to get into the Top-6 would be to knock out Nea Salamina who are currently 4th, 6 points ahead of Omonia.

Nea Salamina is not one of the Big-6 teams and their season has been going extremely well. They deserve to be 4th, but it is difficult to see that they could still improve on their performance, something that they might need to do if they wish to be among the top-6 teams when the regular season ends. Not losing this game would go a long way in that goal as it would keep the distance to Omonia in 6 points with only 5 rounds remaining.

Omonia has improved since the change of head coach but still their results have been inconsistent. They are 2-1-2 in their last 5 games where they beat AEK Larnaca, but then lost away to Apollon Limassol. At home they are 4-1-3 so far this season. Omonia´s biggest problem is in scoring goals as they have only managed 16 goals in 16 games so an average of 1 goal per game.

Nea Salamina is not in the same form as they were at the start of the season, but they are still earning points with a good pace. They are also 2-1-2 in their last 5 games. They are 4-0-4 on the road this season. The games have been interesting as in all their losing matches they have failed to score goals. When they have scored, they have always won.

This will be a tight game as both have struggled to find the net recently. Omonia has been good at home so the main pick is Omonia to win to nil.

Ermis vs Apollon 19:00 N. Papas Group Ammochostos-Epistrofi, Larnaca
8.25 – 5.40 – 1.28 -Bet NOW with Winmasters

Ermis is starting to show signs of improvement as they drew their last two games. They are still bottom of the league but it should not take long for them to get out of that position if they play the same way as they did against AEK Larnaca in their last match. Apollon is probably their toughest opponent as last season Apollon beat them twice with a goal difference of 10-2. Earlier in the season Ermis lost 5-0 at the Tsirion stadium.

Apollon has had a tough time at late with injuries, but things are looking a bit brighter as they signed a few days ago a Serbian centre back who should help them in this situation allowing Chambos Kyriakou to move a bit higher on the pitch to the defensive midfielder position which suits him better.

Ermis has had problems in scoring but they scored twice against AEK Larnaca and they also scored 7 goals against ASIL Lysi in both legs of their last-16 Cyprus Cup game. They definitely create more chances now so you should expect them to get a goal or two.

Apollon has played some tough games recently against top teams and this will be the first time since Christmas that they meet a bottom-4 team. They have scored 38 goals this season and they should be expected to increase that tally here.

Apollon to win with both teams to score.
